I wanted to take this time to express my overall experience with Mack, Jeremy and Corey of the Enviromax Landscape team. It was sheer pleasure working with them.
I am new to Oregon and the Portland area and recently purchased a new town home with a very small backyard. In my previous home owning experience, I had large yards to allow my imagination a lot of room to develop my landscaping. Here however, I truly needed some help. I met with Mack and described to him what I was looking for in my tiny yard. I think my biggest requests were that it had to be pet friendly and that I needed a retreat to relax from the everyday stresses of my professional life. He came up with a design and list of planting materials that impressed me from the start.
The team started work on my place within 2 weeks of my initial meeting with Mack and were finished with my project within 2 days. The end result, OUTSTANDING. I have had nothing but compliments on the yard from friends and neighbors. It’s a good thing they left some business cards with me! I have to say that this is one of the most pleasant experiences that I have had as a home owner with a contract team. I just wanted to thank you all very much for the wonderful retreat that you created for me and I will be enjoying it for a very long time.

I wanted to express the great experience and results achieved with Enviromax Landscape and Design. For years my yard was the blight of the street, now I have neighbors stopping to oooh and ahhh. What a great feeling!
Enviromax listened and designed a landscape around the concept of what I was looking for. They also took time in helping me choose plants that best fit, while also providing the expertise and knowledge of what works best in my landscape environment.

We had to face the fact that our backyard was ugly. We have a steeply sloped backyard that faces onto a busy road (Laidlaw in the Bethany area) that was definitely not stopping traffic.
We met Mack, and over the course of two months we discussed the problems in the backyard (slope and street noise). Mack listened to our problems and designed solutions. Big retaining walls tamed most of the slope, with the top of the slope turned into some great switchbacks with fantastic boulders. Evergreen trees were planted to block street noise, and a wonderful waterfall created to add some 'white noise.
As someone who is totally ignorant of plants, we let Mack choose for us, and the choices blend in well with the natural setting we desired. Mack, and his partner Jeremy, did all the labor of building the walls and patios themselves.
As good Oregon citizens, we are proud to hire a local company that buys local products and pays its taxes in this great state. As for stopping the traffic now - in the final stages of constructions the street traffic slowed down considerably, to the point of people stopping and looking at the wonderful escape that Enviromax created for our family.
