At Enviromax we take a sustainable and environmentally sound approach to every project.  We have taken many steps to ensure that we provide a truly sustainable landscape, from design through installation.  We have developed and extensive guideline that we adhere to on a daily basis.  Here are a few of the highlights:

• Certified Eco-Logical Business – A certification that recognizes Oregon Landscape Contractors that reach the highest standards in environmental protection.
• 4 Day Work Weeks – reduces drive time and fuel consumption
• B99 Biofuel – Purchased directly across the street from our shop, supports local companies and reduces reliance on foreign oil.
• Carbon Offsets – Enviromax is Oregon’s first Carbon Neutral Landscape Company, offsetting 100% of our carbon footprint through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation.
• Drip Irrigation – Most efficient water system for residential landscapes – weather sensors prevent overwatering when raining
• LED Night Lighting – 75% more efficient than standard landscape lighting systems with 15 year lifespan.  We also use a smart controller that runs off astronomical clock to ensure lights come on after dark every night
• Pesticide Free – Enviromax uses no pesticides or herbicides in any of our installations.
• FSC Certified Wood Products – All wood used in our projects is FSC Certified, ensuring sustainable harvesting methods.
• Alternative Materials – All of our proposals offer a more ecological or sustainable alternative material, if available.




• Extensive Recycling Program – We share our yard with a large scale commercial demolition and recycling operation.  They take all of our scraps including concrete, pavers, wood, and metal.
